Obituary for Charles "Buddy" L. Holland
Charlie Lester “Buddy” Holland, age 90 of Pikeville, died March 14, 2022. Buddy enjoyed fishing in his early years, and tinkering and mechanicing on small engines.
Preceding Charlie in death was his wife, Hazel Louallen Holland; parents, Amos and Maggie Simmons Holland; daughters, Sharon and Gwen Holland; son, Charlie Ray Holland, sisters, Celia Bell Savage and Mary Ruth King; brother, JB Holland.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his son, Rufus Holland; grandson, Eric Holland; great-grandchildren, Luke, Emma, and Chase; nieces, nephews, cousins; and a host of friends.
A celebration of life will be 1:00 am CDT Thursday, March 17, 2022 in the Pikeville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Elmer Blaylock officiating. Burial will be in Hitchcock Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1:00-8:00pm CDT Wednesday, March 16, 2022 and 10am until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
