Obituary for Charles Jackson "Jack" Nipper

Charles Jackson 'œJack' Nipper 86 of Pikeville died Saturday May 12, 2012. He was a member of the Bethel Church of Christ. Charles was a World War II Veteran, he served in the Third Army in the European Theatre. His favorite occupation was driving a rolling store. He was a lifetime farmer in Bledsoe County. He also served as Tax Assessor for Bledsoe County and was a Rural Mail Carrier on Route 4 in Bledsoe County. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Eschol Hale Nipper and Bessie Cagle Nipper, brothers, Carlton Nipper, E.H. Nipper, Jr., Donald Nipper, and a sister, Virginia Ruth Rose. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Helen Allison Nipper, son, Charles Tommy (Linda) Nipper, Pikeville, TN., daughter, Ginger Nipper (Billy) Maxwell, Dunlap, TN., grandchildren, Meredith Nipper (Matt) Collins, Lewisburg, Matthew (Cindy) Nipper, Pikeville, Will (Susie) Maxwell, Spencer, TN., great-grandchildren, Mason Nipper Collins, Lewisburg and Mia Gloria Nipper, West Palm Beach, Fl. Services will be held at 4pm CST Tuesday in the chapel of Pikeville Funeral Home with Min. T.A. Smith officiating. Visitation will be held from 2-9 p.m. CST on Monday and until service time on Tuesday. Burial will be on the family farm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Bethel Church of Christ Benevolent Center.
