
Clarence Holland, 76 of Pikeville went home to be with the Lord on Saturday March 6, 2010. Clarence was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was employed with Taft Youth Center as a boiler operator. He was a member of Mooneyham Freewill Baptist Church and of the American Legion Post 66. Clarence was preceded in death by his infant son, Gary Allen Holland; brother, William Holland; sister, Marie Gifford; and his parents, Herman and Eva Holland. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ellen Troy Holland; sons, Randy (Kathy) Holland, Duluth, GA., and Stanley Holland, Murfreesboro, TN., daughter, Pam (Danny) Fowler, Dunlap, TN., brother, Alford (Peggy) Holland, Pikeville, TN., and 4 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Pikeville Funeral Home at 10:00 am CST on Tuesday March 9 with Bro. Wayne Sullivan and Bro. Hubert Davis officiating. Burial will be in Blankenship Cemetery with full military honors, followed by a white dove release.
