
L.L. “Doc” Conley, 92 of Pikeville passed away on September 17, 2013. Doc as we was known around here left the hustle and bustle of the big city life after practicing Dentistry in Florida for over 35 years to come to the valley and farm. He loved the farm and especially his dogs. Doc was originally from Tennessee. He was born in Hillsboro, TN., on February 3, 1921 to the late Tilford and Era Conley. Doc was preceded in death by his aforementioned parents; and a sister; Alta Cathey. He is survived by his wife; Jacqueline Conley, Pikeville, TN., daughter; Jeana DeLoach, Kodak, TN., grandchildren; Taevan Black, Sevierville, TN., Anjeana (Steve) Thurston, Salisbury, NC., great-grandchildren; Amanda Sisco and Steven Thurston, both of Salisbury, NC., Ashley Cooper, Lake City, Fl., and Talon Black, Sevierville, TN., 3 great-great grandchildren A Celebration of Doc’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday September 21, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with T.A.
