Obituary for Martha E Smith
Martha E. Smith, 86 of Pikeville went home to be with the Lord on July 31, 2014.
She was of the Baptist faith and attended First Baptist Church. Some of Martha’s favorite activities included sewing and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Otto Smith, parents; George and Annie Yearwood, brothers; Richard, Chess, John, Glenn, Mack and Harvey Yearwood, sisters; Nan Oakes and Belle Barnes, grandchild; James Robert Schoolfield III, and a daughter-in-law; Hazel Smith.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her sons; Brady (Shirley) Smith, Spencer, TN., Barry Smith, Pikeville, TN., daughter; Brenda (Jim) Schoolfield, Crossville, TN., grandchildren; Bobby (Amanda) Schoolfield, Abigail Schoolfield, Tammy (Dennis) Deweese, Travis (Elizabeth) Smith, and Adam (Chasity) Smith, great-grandchildren; Nathan, Kaitlyn, Andrew, Noah, Suzanna, William, Morgan, Audrey, Jack, Holly, and Seth, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
A Celebration of Martha’s Life will be held on Sunday August 3, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Bro. Freddie Savage and Bro. Bobby Schoolfield officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5-8 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Pikeville Cemetery.
