Mary Sue “Susie” Douglas, age 80 of Pikeville, passed away Monday, January 23, 2023 surrounded by her family. She fought a long hard battle with COPD and Heart Disease.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Blanche Williams and her step-father, Johnny Williams. She was also preceded by her brother, Thomas “Butch” Williams; her niece, Wendy Lynn Hixson; nephews, Mark Hixson and Tommy Williams.
She is survived by her brother, Bill Roland Hixson; sisters, Linda Bell, Sarah (Wayne) Norris, Sharon Williams, Elise (Rod) Catlett; sister-in-law, Wanda Williams; son by choice, Danny Sherrill; granddaughter, Kari Sherrill; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. She also leaves her precious doggie, Daisy.
She will be forever missed.
A celebration of Susie’s life will be held Sunday, January 29, 2023 at 3:00 pm EST at New Harmony Church of Christ with Rod Catlett and Clint Etherton officiating.
