Obituary for Treva Catherine Hankins

Treva Catherine Hankins, 76 of Pikeville, died March 5, 2017. Treva enjoyed crocheting, yard sales, thrifting and listening to music. She was a member of The Bethel Church of Christ. She worked for forty-seven years at Bledsoe County Hospital and Bledsoe Nursing Home.
Preceding Treva in death was her husband, Thomas Gene Hankins; parents, Jim and Kathleen Boynton DeBord; brother and sister-in-law, Mitchel and Ellen DeBord.
Left to cherish Treva’s memories are her children, Rickey Hankins, Pikeville; Chris (Marsha) Hankins, Pikeville; Regenia Bowman, Crossville; sisters, Melba (John) Hargis, Pikeville, Grace (Virgil) Ferguson, Crossville; brothers, Leroy(LouElla) DeBord,
Pikeville, Robert DeBord, Red Bank; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, a very special friend Willis McCarver, and a host of friends.
A celebration of life will be held 2 pm Wednesday, March 8, 2017 in the funeral home chapel with T A Smith officiating. Burial in DeBord Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday March 6, 2017 and Tuesday March 7, 2017 from 3-9 pm.
