
Obituary for Virgil Eugene Campbell
Virgil Eugene Campbell, age 61 of Pikeville, died Saturday, May 5, 2018. He was very talented with wood working, enjoyed raising chickens, and loved his family.
Virgil was preceded in death by his parents, William Angel and Myrtle Smith Campbell, sister, Glenda Medley.
He is survived by his sons, Stanley Eugene (Stacey) Campbell, Spencer, Brian Christopher (Nikki) Campbell, Spencer; daughter, Patricia (James) Speck, Pikeville; brothers, Doug (Mary) Campbell, Marshall Campbell; sisters, Shirley (Donald) Brock, Sharon (Beecher) Rogers, Darlene (Olen) Brock; seven grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
A celebration of life will be 11:00 am CDT Wednesday, May 9, 2018 in the Pikeville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Blackburn Cemetery. The family will receive friends 4:00-9:00 pm CDT Tuesday, May 8 and 8:00 am until service time Wednesday, May 9, 2018. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Pikeville Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
